‘BUSINESS Or PLEASURE’ is a collection of nine songs for those of us who love to travel, proclaim that we will stay forever, watch the sunset, and never miss a sunrise. Then, back home, at work, at school, or just at it, we somehow feel a little older and wiser.
It is so great to hear that ‘BUSINESS OR PLEASURE?’ sounds just as great today, as the day it was released. ‘BUSINESS OR PLEASURE?’ was written and recorded when all the stars aligned and all the stars lit up the night sky. I say this, because I met the real deal production powerhouse named Cory, the talented Mike on bass and finally, (drum roll please), the wonderful and incredible guitarist Paul, all around the same months. Suddenly, the vision became real and audible! This is collection of songs born from electric Latin bluesy funk guitar and Spanish rhythms over a deeply moving kick and drumbeat.
Listen closely and you can hear that any of these songs, in whole or in part, could be remixed as deep house music. I’m thrilled that we have had great support for the release of Corriente – Deep Casa Mix via the Pheonix Music label, with international radio play and DJ club spins! Enjoy!
