That person in the front row or in the greys up by the ceiling at Maple Leaf Gardens knows what I mean. We live for the moment when a friend says "listen to this!" We become detectives, researchers, collectors and curators from the first snippet of any song that banged a gong. Then there was the time it only took a single Spanish guitar and a microphone and we're off again chasing that sound well beyond the curve of the earth. I was there listening and playing along from my basement. I still have the souvenirs.
